Lesson Plan 2: What's the meaning of this?
How does this fit into the curriculum? Pupils should be taught to use an adventurous and wide-ranging vocabulary (EN3 1a) and to put their ideas into sentences (1c).
Teachers' Note: Hand out a copy of the story to them. They must substitute the underlined words with words they have chosen and say how the new word affects the meaning. For those with reading difficulties, you can read the story and conduct it as an oral exercise.
