Lesson Plan 4: Hedgerows
How does this fit into the curriculum? Pupils should be taught about an environmental issue caused by change in the environment (6e).
Teachers' Note: You can set this as a two-part project with your pupils doing research as homework and then discussing the 'What You Can Do' aspect in small groups or pairs. Alternatively, they can research in the classroom in pairs and you can then hold a whole-class discussion about ways in which hedgerow loss can be minimised.
